About Miyauchi Yuri
Miyauchi Yûri creates acoustic-electronica “which gives people the comfort and the pleasure”. Other similar Japanese artists are Lem, Oto, Drawing4-5, and Slowly Minute.
Born in 1983. Miyauchi Yûri started his solo career in 2001. His first album “parcage” was released in 2006 on Rallye records , it got the attention of Yukihiro Takahashi, a member of SKETCH SHOW and former member of YMO. Yûri joined Yukihiro Takahashi’s tour (in September 2006, with Her Space Holiday and Steve Jansen) and the ‘I am robot and proud’ tour of Japan (in July 2006).
Recently he contributed to the クラムボン (Kuramubon) track on the Harumi Hosono tribute album, released in April 2007. Yûri plays live events regularly in and around Tokyo. – last.fm
