Euphoria was formed during the winter of 2001 when they were in the third year of high school. They started to play at shows around Tokyo, and the reputation of their music was steadily getting established. They signed with the Japanese indie label 123RECORDS in 2003 and released their first mini album “Floral dew” in the summer of that year. One year later, they released their second mini album “Silent Roar”, and it was selected as one of the best discs 2004 by the famed music magazine CDJournal. In the same year, they shared the stage with an american post-rock artist the Album Leaf. Euphoria’s first full-length album “Eternal Gift from the Moment” was released in 2005. They are going to release their second full-length album this fall. They will play at Fat Festival in Thailand in this November and this is going to be their first time to play outside Japan.
Euphoria has a nice, calming sound to their music. Their music is usually completely instrumental and has sounds of nature in it. It reminds me a lot of the music you can buy in stores that has the sounds forests and oceans.
