Helios - Unreleased Vol. 1
Country: U.S.Label: Unseen Records
Released: 2009
Genre: Electronic / Rock
Details:
Multi-instrumentalist Keith Kenniff is a busy guy. His music has been used for documentaries, films, commercials and quite recently, as the official score to the trailer for Sam Mendes’ Oscar nominated film Revolutionary Road. His artistic roster is no less impressive with three monikers: Helios, Goldmund and Mint Julep, each covering a different persona of Mr. Kenniff’s diverse musical personality. Goldmund is his identity for producing post-classical works of a subtle, delicate nature, while Mint Julep is more of an avant-pop vehicle. Amazingly, he has maintained a consistent balance between creativity and commercial success that other artists secretly crave. His latest release under the Helios moniker comes to us on his own label, Unseen Records, and is pragmatically titled Unreleased Vol. 1, being a collection of previously unreleased work. It is a surprisingly straightforward moniker compared to his earlier, more enigmatically named albums. – -Michael Duane Ferrell
